The summer of 2015 marked a turning point in my life.  I was preparing to leave both the city and the career that I had called home for over a decade.  It was an exciting time, but it was also extremely stressful.  I turned 31   that summer and not long after my birthday, amid all the chaos of trying to sell one house and buy another, my dad had a bad fall while working out of state and was seriously injured.  He was in the hospital there for some time.  My stepmom went to be with him while...
